Learning is at the heart of all that we do at East Bergholt High School. We believe in creating a caring, positive and stimulating learning environment in which students of all abilities can thrive.
Individual subject areas work within faculties to offer cohesive, relevant programmes of study for Key Stages Three and Four. Teachers and Learning Support staff work together to provide a wide range of support and intervention programmes designed to facilitate learning and progression for all, including the most able. Teachers rigorously track students' progress and utilise a wide range of intervention strategies to support students in reaching their targets.
In Key Stage Three students are able to reflect on their learning experiences through weekly Personal Learning and Thinking Skills sessions. Our tailored Personal Social and Health Education programme encourages students to develop socially, culturally and spiritually as well as academically. We also delight in celebrating students' achievements through our Stellar and Vivo reward schemes.
Staff are constantly looking at enhancing the learning experience for students whether in the classroom or through the extensive range of extra-curricular opportunities that we offer.
Our aim is to provide all students every opportunity to leave East Bergholt High School as life-time learners.
